You are staff, not a subcontractor
Summa employs its drivers. The fleet is company-owned and so is the responsibility for it.
The work is real and it matters
When a hospital generator or a construction fleet is waiting on fuel, the delivery is the job — not a line item someone else handles.
It runs around the clock
A 24/7/365 operation means shifts that suit people who would rather not work nine to five, and it means the overnight work is planned rather than improvised.
Who we hire
Two kinds of people, most of the time.
We are a growing operation and we hire steadily rather than in bursts. If you are either of these, we would like to hear from you whether or not a role is advertised this week.
Tanker drivers
Experienced, reliable drivers who want to be on staff rather than subcontracted. You would be running company tankers on commercial deliveries across New Jersey and New York, on day or night shifts.
Sales professionals
Motivated people who can hold a conversation with a fleet manager or a site supervisor about what their operation actually costs — and then make sure the delivery behind it happens.
