What rail asks for

Rail is not a truck yard with tracks.

01

A window, not a morning

Rail operations run to a plan. Fueling has to fit the slot it is given, which means being there when the slot opens.

02

Volume in one visit

Locomotive tanks are not truck tanks. The delivery has to be sized for what is actually being filled.

03

Documentation that matches

Rail operators and the agencies behind them expect delivery records that reconcile cleanly. That is a normal part of every drop.

Where we fuel

Yards, sidings and industrial rail.

Rail yards, industrial rail logistics and the equipment that works around them — switchers, maintenance-of-way plant and the road vehicles that share the site.

A rail site usually needs more than locomotive diesel. Yard equipment, generators and service vehicles come off the same visit where it makes sense.

Common questions

Before you call.

Do you fuel locomotives directly?

Rail and locomotive fueling is one of our services. The right arrangement depends on the yard, the equipment and the access — that is the conversation to have with dispatch.

Can you work to a fixed track window?

Scheduling to a window is the normal way rail work is done. Dispatch runs 24 hours, which is what makes odd-hour windows workable.

Do you also fuel the rest of the site?

Usually, yes. Yard plant, generators and service vehicles can be covered on the same schedule.

What documentation comes with a delivery?

Delivery records appropriate to the fuel and the operation, intended to reconcile without follow-up.
